The Irish Club of Luxembourg (ICL( has announced that it is organising a celebration of St Brigid with a dinner on Tuesday 4 February 2025, at the Eirelux Irish Pub & Restaurant (40 Rue des Bruyères, Luxembourg-Howald) at 19:00 for 19:30.

St Brigid's Day in Ireland is celebrated on 1 February which marks the first day of spring in the Celtic Calendar. St Brigid is one of Ireland's three patron saints; many people may know of the four-armed St Brigid’s Cross made out of straw. St Brigid's Day has been a public holiday in Ireland since 2023, with the holiday being held on the first Monday in every February. It recognises the contribution of Irish women to the world, as well as how their place in society has been historically undervalued.

To reserve a place, email: party@irishclub.lu. Reservations allow the ICL to group tables together. Everyone will order from the menu and pay individually. Both members and non-members are welcome to attend.
