On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of India’s Independence, the Indian Association Luxembourg (IAL) has organised a unique event with the support of the Ville De Luxembourg (VDL) and the Indian Embassy in Brussels.
Kalari, a renowned 8-member group specialised in Kalaripayattu, will showcase the Indian Martial Art in the form of lecture, explanation and demonstration.
The demonstration, performance and lecture will take place on Wed 16 August (the day after the Independence day celebrations) between 14:30 and 16:30 at the Place d'Armes in Luxembourg city centre.
(note: the Kalari group will replace the metallic weapons with wooden ones as the Ville de Luxembourg does not permit metallic weapons.)
