
The Centre des Arts Pluriels in Ettelbruck (CAPE) has announced the Novo Quartet will perform a concert of chamber music at the venue on Wednesday 26 March 2025 at 20:00.
Winner of several international awards, including first prize and all the special prizes at the 77th Concours de Genève International Music Competition, the Novo Quartet has established itself as one of the most promising ensembles of its generation, noted CAPE.
The evening's programme will see the Danish string quartet perform a variety of pieces by composers Ludwig van Beethoven, Grażyna Bacewicz and Robert Schumann.
Founded in 2018 and currently based in Vienna and Copenhagen, the Novo Quartet is composed of violinists Kaya Kato Møller and Nikolai Vasili Nedergaard, violist Daniel Śledziński and cellist Signe Ebstrup Bitsch. Although classical music remains their primary focus, the ensemble has also undertaken collaborations with a variety of jazz and pop musicians.
