On Monday 9 November 2015 at 20:00, the Conservatoire de la Ville de Luxembourg will host a concert by Quatuor du Teatro alla Scala from Milan, Italy, organised by the Italian Embassy in Luxembourg.
The quartet from the Teatro alla Scala, comprised of Francesco Manara, Daniele Pascoletti (violins), Simonide Braconi (viola) and Massimo Polidori (cello) was founded in 2001 by the soloists of the orchestra of the famous Milanese Theatre. They have played in the most prestigious concert halls in the world such as the Mozarteum of Salisbourg and have collaborated with pianists such as Bruno Canino, Jeffrey Swann, Angela Hewitt, Paolo Restani and Bruno Campanella. They have recorded for Decca various quintets by Brahms and Schumann.
