Five talented musicians from across Europe have volunteered to perform in a charity concert at the Philharmonie in order to raise funds for the Caritas Luxembourg initiative to support the homeless in Luxembourg; organised by Fingertips asbl, the concert will feature works by composers Schostakovich and Schubert.

The charity concert will take place on Monday 28 September at 19:30 at the Philharmonie of Luxembourg (entrance is free, however reservations are obligatory) and will feature chamber music works by Schostakovich and Schubert. All the donations collected from the evening of the concert will go to Caritas' initiatives for homeless people, notably the project 'Rebuilding - se reconstruire par des activités sportives et artistiques'. These initiatives aim to not only provide shelter for the homeless in Luxembourg, but also to reintegrate them into society through the organisation of sports and arts activities.

Taking the stage on the evening are 'le Petit grand piano duo' (Chiahu Lee and Emily Hooker) and the 'Ivan Piano trio' (Néstor Balona, Malena Pflock and Frans van Schoonhoven). These performers, who are prize holders of many acclaimed international awards, are all students and alumni from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, England.

This is not the first collaboration between Fingertips ASBL and Caritas Luxembourg: three years ago, a similar joint project had raised over 5000 Euros for asylum-seekers at the foyer St. Antoine.

Entrance: free of charge and by reservation only: Registration by email: project.fingertips@gmail.com or tel: 402131-221
