The Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce has announced the cancellation of the Chinese New Year reception originally scheduled for Thursday 12 February 2020.
According to the event organisers, the decision to cancel this event was due to the current situation regarding coronavirus and the advice given by the health authorities. In addition, the Chamber of Commerce, together with fellow organisers the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Brussels and the China-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (CHINALUX), have attributed this decision to a desire to express solidarity with their Chinese partners at this time.
The "Chinese New Year, the Year of the Rat" reception was supposed to take place next Thursday at the Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg-Kirchberg.
