On Thursday 22 Ocotober 2026, the University of Luxembourg's Uni.lu Choir reported raising €1,260 for charity during its June concerts.
The funds were collected in support of the Ilula Orphan Program (IOP Luxembourg), a Luxembourg-based non-profit organisation that provides opportunities for quality education, health services, counselling and socio-economic empowerment in Tanzania.
The organisation works to improve the lives of vulnerable children, including orphans, by providing the support, resources and education they need to break the cycle of poverty and build a better future.
"We are a volunteer-led not-for-profit organisation (ASBL) based in Luxembourg, and we work long term to improve the lives of vulnerable children, including orphans," said Tom O'Dea, President of IOP Luxembourg.
He added: "Our goal is to give these young people the support, resources, and education they need to break the cycle of poverty and create a better future. We are grateful to those who donated so generously, and to Uni.lu Choir for helping to raise awareness."
