Luxembourg’s Pirate Productions has announced it will host a theatre and music night on Saturday 20 June 2026, from 19:30 at the Hollerich Centre Culturel in Luxembourg-Hollerich, in support of Mikhail “Mike” Lochtchinin, who is currently imprisoned in Russia and accused of treason.

Pirate Productions said Mikhail Lochtchinin, a Belgian-Russian citizen and noted friend of Pirate Productions who has assisted them in the past with the filming and editing of their shows, has been imprisoned and recently sentenced for treason in Russia. In a show of support they are helping to organise the impromptu theatre and music event to increase awareness of his situation and to raise both political and financial support for him.

The organiser said the event, “Friends for Mike”, will be “an evening of music, theatre, friendship and community spirit, featuring songs from musical theatre and some of Mike’s favourite music. Together, we hope to raise funds, show our support, and remind Mike that he is not forgotten.”

Friends, supporters and community members are invited to be part of the event.

Tickets cost €20 for adults and €10 for students.

A petition has been launched in support Mikhail Lochtchinin release and can be found at https://www.pirateproductions.lu/Public/DonateSignPetition.php.
