Be Proud, a social impact company, has announced that more than 2,000 participants have already registered for the Luxembourg Pride Run 2026, which will take place on Thursday 2 July 2026, starting from Place Guillaume II (Knuedler) in Luxembourg-Ville.

According to the organisers, the event has already attracted around 100 companies, foundations, associations, public institutions and embassies, alongside individual participants, families, groups of friends and other supporters. Nearly 4,000 people are expected to take part in this year's edition.

The Luxembourg Pride Run is not a timed race. Its primary objective is symbolic, allowing participants to take part without performance pressure while expressing their support for diversity, equality and inclusion. The programme will include a children's race, a 5 km route open to both walkers and runners, and a 10 km route reserved for runners.

The organisers added that musical performances will take place along the routes to encourage participants and contribute to the event atmosphere.

Christophe Rahier, organiser of the Luxembourg Pride Run, said: “In a context where the rights of LGBTIQ+ people are regressing in several countries, it is essential to continue showing up, to remain visible and to mobilise. The Pride Run allows everyone to affirm their identity and their commitment to a more inclusive society.”

The event also highlights efforts to promote equality in the workplace, with many companies participating in the initiative.

The organisers noted that the event receives financial and logistical support from a number of partner companies.

Be Proud noted that the 2025 edition attracted 3,500 participants and more than ninety companies. The organisers reported increased participation from institutions and businesses for the 2026 event.

The Luxembourg Pride Run is organised by Be Proud in collaboration with the City of Luxembourg (VdL).

Registration costs €25 in advance and €30 on the day of the event. More information is available at the Luxembourg Pride Run website.
