Europa Donna Luxembourg Asbl has announced a conference titled “Breast Cancer: Reconciling Body and Mind, Mobilising Your Resources for Health”, taking place on Thursday 28 May 2026 at the Tramsschapp cultural centre in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg.

The event forms part of Women’s Health Week, initiated by Luxembourg’s Ministry of Health and Social Security. According to Europa Donna Luxembourg, the conference will focus on a holistic approach to health and explore how people can “live and relearn how to live after illness”.

The evening programme includes welcome speeches by Europa Donna Luxembourg President Mariette Fischbach and Luxembourg’s Minister of Health and Social Security, Martine Deprez.

The conference will also feature presentations by Dr Alexis Lion, Director of the Fédération luxembourgeoise des associations de sport de santé and President of HEPA, on physical activity and cancer, as well as by Pierre Van Vlodorp, Director and Lecturer at the Centre de formation en nutrithérapie appliquée (CFNA) in Namur, on nutritherapy and cancer prevention.

A round table titled “Living and Relearning to Live” will take place with psychologist and author Dr Christophe André and radiation oncologist Dr Violaine Forissier, co-authors of the book Vivre avec, vivre après. According to the organisers, the discussion will offer practical insights and reflections on life after illness. A book signing session is also scheduled at the end of the evening.

Participation is free of charge, with registration required via the event registration link.
