Europa Donna Luxembourg, a non-profit organisation dedicated to the fight against breast cancer, has reported that it recently received a donation from Lions Club 22 Titanium.
On Monday 2 February 2026, Lions Club 22 Titanium presented a cheque for €5,000 to Europa Donna Luxembourg. The donation was funded through proceeds raised during various events organised by the club throughout the year.
One of the key fundraising initiatives was the Nordstad Mountain Bike Trail, a Green Event held on 21 September 2025 in Erpeldange-sur-Sûre. Participants could choose between routes of 28, 40, 50 or 62 kilometres, with the event also featuring a raffle, entertainment, a bike wash, a bouncy castle, a chill-out zone, as well as food and drinks.
The Lions’ mission is to provide clubs, volunteers and partners with the means to promote health and well-being, strengthen communities and support people in need through humanitarian services and grants, with the aim of having a positive impact worldwide while fostering peace and international understanding. In addition to Europa Donna Luxembourg, Ambulanz Wonsch ASBL also received a donation.
This project reflects values shared by Europa Donna Luxembourg, notably the importance of remaining active and socially connected as a key factor for health.
The organisation thanked Lions Club 22 Titanium, noting that the donation will help fund supportive therapies that complement traditional breast cancer treatments. These measures aim to relieve the burden on and support patients.
