On Friday 7 November 2025, Stëmm vun der Strooss, a Luxembourg-based non-profit organisation which supports people experiencing homelessness and vulnerable members of society, reported that Lions Club Xenium had made a donation of clothing, essential items and backpacks.

Stëmm said the donation was part of long-standing support from Lions Club Xenium, a volunteer association engaged in humanitarian, social and cultural action for people most at risk. The non-profit organisation runs local and international projects that provide concrete responses to current social and health challenges. Its priorities include combating diabetes, supporting people facing hardship, expanding access to education and culture, protecting the environment, assisting people with disabilities and conducting collections in support of the Food Bank.

According to Stëmm, the donations will be distributed through the Kleederstuff workshop at the Hollerich and Esch-sur-Alzette sites, where a team of ten people in work reintegration operates the workshops. Clothing comes from private donations as well as collections organised by schools, secondary schools and companies. Once sorted and washed, items are redistributed free of charge to people in need. The goal is to enable everyone to dress appropriately for the season and for specific situations, such as job interviews, court appointments, or housing searches and to help restore dignity. On average, more than 40 people in Luxembourg City and nearly 60 in Esch-sur-Alzette receive free clothing or a laundry service each week.

Moreover, Stëmm vun der Strooss announced that they have launched a call for donations of clothing for men, women and children, as well as suitcases, sports bags, backpacks, bed linen, duvets, sheets, shoes and hygiene products.

Donations can be dropped off Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 16:30 without an appointment at the following addresses:
