Background
Founded in 2001 as a tribute to former rugby player Tim Shepard and Jessica Lister, KCIT is a Luxembourg-based charity initiative dedicated to raising awareness and funds for palliative care. Over the years, it has raised tens of thousands of euros for Omega 90 and its hospice, Haus Omega. Funds have supported enhancements such as massage and transformation chairs to improve patient comfort and mobility.
In June 2025, KCIT hosted a charity golf day at the Kikuoka Golf Course, which raised more than €5,000 with the participation of golfers aged between 8 and 78. The annual touch rugby tournament typically raises around €2,000 for Haus Omega, drawing dozens of players and teams.
