On Monday 5 May 2025, CFL Mobility and Stëmm vun der Strooss reported that the FLEX Charity Car campaign recently raised €4,600 for the "Schweesdrëps" therapeutic workshop in Luxembourg.

Over a period of six weeks, two electric vehicles from the FLEX carsharing fleet - a VW ID.4 and a Mini Electric - were driven for a good cause. FLEX users covered a total of 6,110 kilometres, raising €4,600 (CFL Mobility rounded up the figure). CFL Mobility donated the full amount to support the "Schweesdrëps" project of Stëmm vun der Strooss, a local non-profit organisation which supports people experiencing homelessness and vulnerable members of society.

Located in Sanem, Schweesdrëps is a professional reintegration workshop that specialises in washing sportswear. More than 30 employees in social reintegration clean uniforms and gear for over 500 sports teams across Luxembourg. The donated funds will help improve working conditions through investment in new equipment and processes.

"We are very pleased that this initiative not only promotes sustainable mobility but also supports a dedicated project that makes a real difference in Luxembourg," said Pit Reiter, Managing Director of CFL Mobility.

Stëmm vun der Strooss also welcomed the collaboration. "Schweesdrëps is a place of stability and new opportunities for many. FLEX's support helps us expand our impact and meet increasing demand," said Alexandra Oxacelay, Director of Stëmm vun der Strooss.

Launched in 2018, FLEX promotes sustainable mobility across Luxembourg. With over 80 stations and 170 vehicles of various sizes (from electric Minis to transport vans), FLEX is the country's largest carsharing provider.

Founded in 1996, Stëmm vun der Strooss is a non-profit organisation committed to supporting people in precarious living situations. It offers supervised jobs, medical care, meals and social support to help combat exclusion and promote social inclusion.
