PwC Luxembourg has announced the organisation of the PwC Cup of Nations rugby tournament, organised by PoP (People of PwC) Rugby in Luxembourg and co-hosted by the Walferdange Rugby Club, set to take place on Saturday 7 June 2025.

According to PwC, around 250 participants from its offices across Europe and the United States are expected to take part in this tournament, which has received support from the municipality of Walferdange.

The PwC Cup of Nations, established in 2009, has brought together PwC offices from across Europe for more than a decade, PwC reported in a press release. Regular participants include teams from France, England, Luxembourg, Ireland, the Channel Islands, Scotland and Wales, with additional interest from the Netherlands, the United States, Germany, Belgium and Portugal.

The event will feature full contact rugby for men and touch rugby for women. PwC noted that this year's tournament will also support various charity initiatives, with all proceeds going to these causes. Entry is free of charge, and food and drinks will be available for purchase; however, visitors are advised to bring cash, as there may not be card facilities.

The first match is scheduled to begin at 10:00. The men’s tournament will comprise ten pool matches followed by a final, while the women’s tournament will include six pool matches and a final. The finals are expected to kick off at around 16:00.
