Europa Donna Luxembourg (EDL), a non-profit organisation dedicated to the fight against breast cancer, has reported that it recently received a €650 donation from Club Aktiv Plus Stroossen.
This donation comes from funds raised during various activities organised by the club throughout the year.
The initiatives of Club Aktiv Plus Stroossen are based on promoting social interactions, lifelong learning, intergenerational and intercultural dialogue, and encouraging social participation.
EDL said this project "perfectly reflects" their shared values, stating: "Staying active and socially connected is fundamental for health at any age".
The non-profit thanked the club for its "generosity and support". Thanks to this donation, EDL will be able to continue developing supportive care services that complement conventional breast cancer treatments. These services aim to relieve and comfort patients affected by the disease.
