For the 14th consecutive year, Renmans, represented by Serge Jadin, will continue to support the social restaurants operated by Stëmm vun der Strooss in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg-Hollerich and Ettelbruck: between January and November 2025, Renmans will supply the Stëmm with 24 kg of meat one day a month.

This equates to Renmans providing 264 kg of meat over these eleven months: the various kitchens will thus be able to obtain supplies from the nearest butcher's shop to their location.

To honour this initiative, the representatives of Renmans invited Alexandra Oxacelay, the director of the non-profit association, to the premises of the butcher's shop in Foetz recently for a photo opportunity as well as to launch another traditional campaign, which is characterised by its Christmas spirit.

Since the beginning of December and until the end of this year, Renmans has been donating 300kg of meat free of charge to the Stëmm, which enables the social restaurants to offer nutritious meals during this festive month and to feed a population that is constantly growing, with an average of 450 meals served per day in Hollerich, 250 meals in Esch-sur-Alzette and 150 meals in Ettelbruck.

During the month of December, Renmans is also organising an awareness campaign among its customers and for every three raclette, plancha or beef fondue platters sold, Renmans will donate a meal to Stëmm.

This campaign is part of the company's social responsibility policy with the slogan: "Ensemble offrons plus de 4,500 repas aux plus démunis" (Together we offer 4,500+ meals to the most deprived). Renmans will inform its customers that it will donate the meat needed to prepare more than 4,500 meals in the period December 2024 and throughout 2025. At a portion of 120 grams of meat per meal, this amounts to a total of 564 kg.
