Luxembourg-based international professional women's association The NETWORK held its annual Christmas Dinner on Wednesday 11 December 2024 at SAZIO (Italian restaurant) in Luxembourg-Grund.
The evening event brought together about 40 guests - mainly women and members of The NETWORK, although a few men and non-members also joined in the festivities. In addition to networking over an Italian buffet and drinks, attendees had an opportunity to witness the impact of the association for its members and the wider community.
The event thus celebrated collective efforts, with The NETWORK announcing how much money it had raised throughout the year for three local charities: Femmes en Détresse, Think Pink Luxembourg and La Voix des Survivant(e)s will each receive €1,200.
There were also short speeches by a handful of members of The NETWORK who had pitched their services/products at previous events. They shared how The NETWORK had helped them in their respective entrepreneurial journeys. They notably touched on the importance of giving but also receiving / accepting support (and Christmas presents!), as well as the value of networking and connecting with others (within a safe space).
Also on the agenda was an interactive dance session to promote self-esteem, and a tombola featuring prizes such as coaching sessions (some donated by the evening's speakers) and free entry to The NETWORK's events / free membership of The NETWORK.
