The Bazar International de Luxembourg (International Bazaar) returned to Luxexpo The Box in Luxembourg-Kirchberg from Friday 15 to Sunday 17 November 2024.

This major charity event is one of the highlights of Luxembourg's social calendar, not least for the international community.

Among the special guests at this year's International Bazaar were Luxembourg's Grand Duchess Maria Teresa and Princess Stéphanie, Hereditary Grand Duchess, who made an appearance on the opening evening. Saint Nicholas - or the "Kleeschen" - greeted children at Luxexpo on Sunday afternoon.

More than 30,000 visitors were expected to attend this year's event, and the Luxexpo halls certainly were crowded over the weekend. Visitors could enjoy various cultural performances and food and drinks from around the world, all the while shopping for a good cause. About 60 stands were present again this year, most of them representing different countries. Brazil and Israel were back. The latter was absent last year due to cited security concerns. For this edition, there was an increased police presence at the venue. Some individuals could be seen outside Luxexpo holding Palestine flags and placards.

Over 1,000 volunteers came together to make this edition of the International Bazaar another success. Each year, 100% of proceeds go towards supporting global and local charitable causes. In 2023, the non-profit organisation behind the event donated more than €500,000 to charities.
