As part of the 2024 donation fortnight called "Colors of Blindness", the Fondation Lëtzebuerger Blannevereenegung (FLB) is organising an immersive experience at the Mierscher Theater in Mersch from Tuesday 1 to Saturday 5 October 2024.

Entitled "Unsichtbare Welten – eine Reise ins blinde Vertrauen" (Invisible worlds - a journey into blind trust), this tactile adventure will immerse participants in total darkness, offering them the opportunity to experience the reality of blind or partially sighted people for two hours and fifteen minutes.

Equipped with a white cane, visitors will be guided through various immersive scenes, allowing them to experience life without sight. The aim of this interactive activity is to raise public awareness of the daily challenges faced by people with visual impairments, while encouraging empathy and a better understanding of this disability.

The sessions will take place from Monday 1 to Friday 4 October at 14:00, 14:45 and 15:30 and on Saturday 5 October every 45 minutes, from 08:30 to 15:15. Tickets are free and can be booked online via Luxembourg Ticket here.

Special sessions, reserved for schools, are also planned for the mornings of 1 to 4 October. Interested teachers can contact the FLB via tel.: 329031-1500.
