Luxembourg-based Fondation EME has announced its upcoming pOpera shows; pOpera II is a community-based opera that brings together participants from diverse backgrounds.

The Fondation EME is inviting the public to discover pOpera II (second edition), a unique experience uniting professional and non-professional artists from diverse backgrounds and countries. As the foundation explained, this project celebrates diversity, inclusion and the transformative power of music. The participants are at the heart of the creation of this show.

The shows will take place at the Philharmonie Luxembourg in Luxembourg-Kirchberg (Salle Musique de Chambre) on Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 September 2024, both days at 19:00.

The shows are open to everyone and free of charge, but seating is limited. On-site, attendees will have the opportunity to make a donation to support future editions of the project. Current sponsors include the Fondation Alphonse Weicker, the Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte and Luxembourg's Ministry of Culture.
