Kannerhaus Wooltz Supports Those in Need with Advent Calendar Initiative

Kannerhaus Wooltz asbl recently launched an Advent calendar campaign in aid of Stëmm vun der Strooss, a Luxembourg non-profit organisation which supports homeless people and vulnerable members of society.

On Monday 20 December 2021, the educators of Kannerhaus Wooltz donated several bags and boxes of clothing, hygiene items and non-perishable food.

In order to collect these products, the educators launched an Advent calendar campaign at the beginning of December. It was thanks to the motivation of the children and the support and goodwill of their parents that so many items could be collected and donated to Stëmm vun der Strooss.

Stëmm vun der Strooss will distribute the donated clothes and hygiene items to the beneficiaries of its "Kleederstuff" initiative in Luxembourg-Hollerich and Esch-sur-Alzette. These stores offer a range of good-quality second-hand clothes to those in need. The food will be used to replenish the stock in the kitchen of the non-profit's social restaurant in Luxembourg-Hollerich.
