Apothecary - The Cold Pressed Juicery, a Luxembourg-based specialist in vitamin and healthy juices, has announced that it is celebrating its third anniversary by launching  a "Charity Edition" cold-pressed juice.

Since its creation by Jerry Wagner three years ago, the startup has grown into a well-regarded supplier of quality fruit and vegetable juices.

In cooperation with Luxembourg artist Jacques Schneider, Apothecary is now offering a new end-of-year product that serves a good cause: Apothecary's "Charity Edition" is a cold-pressed fruit juice packed with vitamins that owes its taste to the organic carrots grown on Luxembourg soil that go into its composition. All sales proceeds will be donated to the Fondation du Grand-Duc et de la Grande-Duchesse, a local charity which supports humanitarian aid projects.

For this exclusive edition, limited to 3,500 bottles, particular attention has been paid not only to the content, but also to the packaging. Jacques Schneider designed the bottle and the accompanying box for this original concept. Known for his charitable commitment, the artist explained how he used the "Léiwe Léiw" (kind lion) character which he developed, and which symbolises protection and solidarity, for the design.

“This idea came from the artist himself and I'm sure it will be well received by our customers!", commented Jerry Wagner, Founder and Manager of Apothecary.

The label on the “Charity Edition” bottle is particularly original, since it contains the seeds of the variety of carrots used in the composition of the juice, which allows the consumer to grow these Luxembourg root tubers in their own garden.

Goy Grosbusch, director of Grosbusch SA, the main supplier of Apothecary, added: “The objective was to develop an organic product from Luxembourg and we finally agreed on the carrot, a choice in perfect harmony with the artistic concept of Jacques Schneider".

Apothecary has described its "Charity Edition" juice as "an original and healthy gift" for family and friends, as well as companies wishing to thank their employees at the end of the year for their work while supporting a good cause.

“This project was born out of a cooperation between Jacques [Schneider] and Apothecary which aimed to promote local consumption. Indeed, Apothecary’s philosophy is to favour local and regional partners in order to offer our customers cold-pressed juice of exceptional quality!" explained Jerry Wagner,

The "Charity Edition" juice is available for €9.50 from the Apothecary online store: https://www.apothecary.lu/product-page/charity-edition-2021. Delivery is free of charge.
