ChefPassport, a Luxembourg-based startup specialising in online cooking and virtual team-building experiences, has pledged its support for Stream for Starlight (S4S), a month-long digital campaign dedicated to helping seriously ill children.

ChefPassport along with other businesses and influencers will raise money and awareness for the event organiser, the Starlight Children's Foundation, a US non-profit committed to delivering happiness to severely ill children and their families.

Matteo Ressa, CEO and founder of ChefPassport, commented: "Live streaming is at the heart of what we do. Cooking is the method of our success. Food has the power to empower the body and mind. Supporting S4S simply makes sense for who we are and what we do, which is why we are very happy to organise free live online cooking classes for kids and parents during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month".

This September, ChefPassport will host the following events:

  • Saturday 12 September @ 20:30 (CEST) - Sushi Making for Kids
  • Saturday 19 September @ 12:30 (CEST) - Pasta Making for Kids
  • Sunday 27 September @ 01:00 (CEST) - Mexican Happy Hour for Parents

"Throughout the month, ChefPassport will collect donations to support Starlight's programmes, such as Starlight VR and Starlight Gaming. These programmes help entertain, distract and inspire hospitalised kids at more than 800 children's hospitals and healthcare facilities across the United States," concluded Matteo Ressa.
