Luxembourg music production company Another Level Creative Group has announced that it is organising a charity concert for the benefit of Stand Speak Rise Up! on Saturday 1 February 2020 at 20:00 at Neimënster (Salle Robert Krieps) in Luxembourg-Grund.

This charity concert, organised with the support of Allen & Overy, State Bank and Savings Bank, Banque Raiffeisen and Grant Thornton, will raise funds for the Stand Speak Rise Up! association, which is part of the Fondation du Grand-Duc et de la Grande-Duchesse.

Following the success of the Stand Speak Rise Up! event, an international conference committed to ending sexual violence in fragile environments organised on the initiative of Her Royal Highness the Grand Duchess in March 2019, the fight for victims of sexual violence continues and new projects are being created at the national and international level.

Having seen increasing calls for help in this area, the Foundation followed and supported around 20 single mothers last year, more than half of whom were victims of abuse and domestic violence. In September 2019, the Grand Duchess also created the Stand Speak Rise Up! a.s.bl., bringing together renowned personalities to continue the fight against sexual violence in fragile environments. The first meetings of the a.s.b.l. took place on 16 and 17 November 2019 in Luxembourg.

Fundraising is thus essential to support these efforts in the fight against sexual violence in all its forms. The upcoming charity concert, under the High Patronage of the Grand Duchess, will see the internationally renowned Cuban female ensemble, Gema 4, perform at neimënster. Gema 4 brings together four gems of Cuban music. On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the formation of the quartet, the ensemble's four voices will transport the public through a quarter of a century of Latin American music for the benefit of Stand Speak Rise Up! This concert concludes the ensemble's European tour, which began in early October and included performances in Spain, Switzerland, Austria and Germany.

Concert tickets cost €50 and can be purchased from neimenster.lu or via tel.: 262-052444.
