POST Luxembourg and the Luxembourg Red Cross have announced their decision to join forces for a charity scarf knitting initiative.

The action will see POST Luxembourg support the Norbert Ensch Red Cross reception centre, where the two Yua and Zoé structures welcome mothers and their babies to help them create a bond.

Everyone can contribute to this action by knitting part of a scarf. This scarf will not only be used to warm up and decorate POST Luxembourg's PackUp 24/24 stations, but will be used mainly to make baby blankets. In addition, POST Luxembourg will donate €10 to the Red Cross for every metre of knitted fabric.

In order to participate, anyone can use their own materials and start knitting a scarf with the minimum dimensions of 20 x 50 cm (or longer). Knitted scarves can be submitted up to 23 December 2019. The full list of drop-off points is available on www.post.lu/tricot.
