The 73rd edition of the annual Red Cross Bazaar, organised by the Luxembourg Red Cross, will be taking place at Hall Victor Hugo in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg on Sunday 17 November 2019 from 10:00-18:00.
The Red Cross Bazaar takes place every year in Luxembourg, under the High Patronage of Her Royal Highness the Grand Duchess, President of the Luxembourg Red Cross. Each year, a member of the Grand Ducal family attends this social event which brings together some 300 volunteers to support the Luxembourg Red Cross' projects for the less fortunate, namely the homeless. Indeed, funds raised through the bazaar will be used for housing in Luxembourg and beyond.
Once again this year, visitors to the bazaar can browse a large indoor market with its unique mix of design, vintage, and second-hand stands, gifts and a giant raffle. There will also be a food hall offering a wide range of Luxembourgish and international specialties and an "Kids Corner" with street art and music, activities (organised by the Red Cross Youth Section) and the visit of Saint Nicholas at 11:00 and 15:00. New this year are an assortment of selected products from producers of the solidarity economy and the introduction of DigiCash.
