Allen & Overy Donates Sleeping Bags, Underwear to Stëmm vun der Strooss

Allen & Overy has donated sleeping bags and underwear to Luxembourg NGO Stëmm vun der Strooss.

For the second year in a row, the ProBono committee at Allen & Overy has supported the non-profit organisation Stëmm vun der Strooss with a donation. Headquartered in London, Allen & Overy is a global law firm with approximately 5,000 employees in 31 countries across Europe, America, Asia, Africa, Australia and the Middle East. The firm specialises in advising large corporations, financial institutions and governments.

On the initiative of Veronique Braunert, the firm donated 30 high-quality sleeping bags, underwear and socks for men and women. Allen & Overy then gave the donations to the Director and Vice President of Stëmm vun der Strooss, Alexandra Oxacelay and André Theisen, at the firm's premises in Kirchberg.

These sleeping bags and underwear will be distributed free of charge to disadvantaged people in the professional resettlement workshops "Kleederstuff" in Hollerich ((7, Rue de la Fonderie) and in Esch-sur-Alzette (32, Grand Rue).
