Brucher Thieltgen & Partners celebrated its 20th anniversary alongside nearly 200 clients, partners, fellow lawyers and team members at a gathering in the gardens of the firm, on Thursday 17 September 2026.
Established in 2006, the multidisciplinary law firm specialises in business law, complex litigation, and dispute resolution, serving domestic and international clients, including banks, investment funds and corporate entities.
The firm’s story began at the end of 2005, when Jean Brucher, Marie Bena and Nicolas Thieltgen left a US law firm together to build their own project in Luxembourg. Brucher & Associés was founded in 2006, before becoming Brucher Thieltgen & Partners in 2010.
Nicolas Bernardy joined the firm in 2006 as a Junior Associate and became a Partner ten years later. His career within the firm reflects an essential part of its story: growth built not only through expansion, but also by supporting the long-term development of its people. This approach continued with Anne-Marie Ka, who became a Partner in 2023, followed by Philippe Sylvestre in 2024.
Over the years, Brucher Thieltgen & Partners has broadened its areas of expertise, strengthened its teams and advised an increasingly international client base on ever more complex matters. The arrival of Alexandre Gas as Executive Director in 2018 also marked an important milestone, with the gradual development of the firm’s various support functions to accompany its growth and continued professionalisation.
Today, Brucher Thieltgen & Partners brings together nearly 60 professionals. This evolution is also reflected in its premises. Based since 2022 at 16 and 18 Boulevard Emmanuel Servais in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg, the firm has recently expanded into number 20, further strengthening its presence in the heart of Luxembourg and creating additional capacity to support the next stages of its development.

Brucher Thieltgen & Partners’ twentieth anniversary also marked the introduction of a new visual identity, which the firm said is designed to more accurately reflect what the business has become. The new symbol brings together the letters B, T and P in a contemporary design, while the green historically associated with the firm now forms part of an enriched visual universe featuring new shades and a touch of yellow.
As part of the rebranding, the firm has also launched its new website, btplawyers.lu, which has been completely redesigned to better showcase its expertise, teams and culture, while providing a clearer presentation of its positioning for both Luxembourg and international clients.
To celebrate its first twenty years, the firm said it chose the theme “The Art of Connection”, reflecting the professional and human relationships that have shaped its history. During the evening, an artist created a live artwork, while twenty pieces retracing twenty years of memorable moments, personalities and anecdotes were presented to the guests.
Through this celebration, Brucher Thieltgen & Partners sought to highlight that the story of a law firm is measured not only by its growth, its matters or its results, but also by the quality of the relationships it builds, nurtures and passes on over time.
