Construction group Thomas & Piron Luxembourg has announced that on Thursday 21 May 2026 it celebrated its 50th anniversary at Les Jardins du Luxembourg in Merl, where company leaders reaffirmed the group’s long-term commitment and development ambitions in Luxembourg.
During the event, founder of Thomas & Piron Louis-Marie Piron, CEO of the group Olivier Beguin, Managing Director of Thomas & Piron Luxembourg Günther Beining and Commercial Director of Thomas & Piron Luxembourg François-Xavier Gilen shared their vision for the future, reaffirming the group’s strength, its long-standing ties to Luxembourg and its determination to continue sustainable development in the country, the group noted.
The group explained that the choice of Les Jardins du Luxembourg to host the celebration reflected the project’s importance as a major strategic milestone in the group’s development in Luxembourg.
In his speech, Louis-Marie Piron recalled the group’s historic attachment to Luxembourg, as well as the challenges the real estate sector has faced in recent years amid successive crises and a slowdown in the market. “We have been in Luxembourg for 40 years and we have no intention of leaving. Despite the current context, we continue to invest and build because we believe in the potential of the Luxembourg market,” he stressed.
Günther Beining also highlighted the group’s ability to maintain its development and continue its projects despite the current situation in the property market. He said: “The group is sufficiently strong to continue moving forward despite the current context. Our ability to pre-finance our projects allows us to pursue our development and maintain our ambitions in Luxembourg.”
According to the group, it currently employs nearly 350 people in Luxembourg, continues to expand and is marketing several projects, including Aubépine in Merl, Botanica and Ekxo in Cloche d’Or, and the new Blummewee district in the Kremerich residential area in Junglinster.
