Golazone, an online platform for live sports events in Luxembourg, recently announced the release of its Version 2.
Golazone has counted over 50,000 visits in five months and more than 60 venues have joined the platform.
Since its launch in summer 2024, the platform has featured over 300 sports events, including highlights such as UEFA Euro 2024 and the 2024 Summer Olympic Games.
"The momentum was a key factor in our successful launch. The Euro 2024 and the Olympic and Paralympic Games united nations and created excitement, attracting both sports fans and casual viewers. This allowed us to quickly increase Golazone's visibility and establish the platform as an indispensable tool for sports enthusiasts," said Nicolas Sully, co-founder of Golazone.
Version 2 of the platform is now live. With this update, Golazone has introduced new features designed to simplify the experience for both venues and users.
"With the Version 2 of Golazone, we have implemented features that enhance venue visibility and simplify their management. Venues can now add direct links to their websites, display their opening hours and connect their reservation systems. The vacation mode offers flexible management during non-broadcast periods," noted co-founder Daniel Brunner. "We have also incorporated user feedback to provide more detailed information about venues, such as the number of screens, the presence of a terrace, dining options and accessibility."
As reported by Golazone, this update aims to ensure that all customers, including those with disabilities, can enjoy events in the best conditions. It reflects the founders' "commitment to providing an accessible experience for all sports enthusiasts while helping venues optimize their visibility and efficiency".
