On Tuesday 12 November 2024, Jonk Entrepreneuren Luxembourg (JEL) held its annual reception at the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg-Kirchberg, in the presence of Luxembourg's Minister of Agriculture, Food and Viticulture and Minister for Consumer Protection, Martine Hansen.

The event brought together major figures from the educational, economic and institutional fields.

Since 2005, Jonk Entrepreneuren Luxembourg asbl has been working to stimulate the entrepreneurial spirit of young people between the ages of nine and 25 through educational programmes organised at every level of education. The association also strives to strengthen the link between the world of education and the world of business.

Jonk Entrepreneuren Luxembourg described the last two years as being rich in achievements, including the expansion of educational programmes to new schools, the organisation of virtual workshops in response to contemporary challenges, and the establishment of innovative collaborations with leading companies. Thanks to these efforts, a growing number of young people have been able to explore and develop their entrepreneurial skills.

The annual reception featured speeches and testimonies from young people who have transformed their ideas into concrete projects and presentations on future initiatives aimed at strengthening the entrepreneurial spirit in Luxembourg. These testimonies were described as illustrating the resilience and creativity of young people, "true drivers of innovation" for the region.

Jonk Entrepreneuren Luxembourg thanked its partners, whose support makes the projects possible. The reception reportedly reaffirmed the importance of cooperation between the public, private and educational sectors to continue to encourage young talent and stimulate local innovation.
