As of 1 April 2019, Crestbridge’s Luxembourg office, which will mark its tenth anniversary next year, will be located at 1 Boulevard de la Foire, at premises that offer greater scope for future expansion.

The firm has seen considerable growth in business flows and headcount in recent months. Over the past year alone, the firm has grown its Luxembourg team by over 69%, whilst it also recently strengthened its senior team with the appointments of Aleksander Jakima, Sue Saddul and Pierfrancesco Rinaldi.

Crestbridge was one of the first firms to establish a Management Company (ManCo) in Luxembourg in 2011, providing a third-party management company solution for managers of both UCITS and alternative investment funds, whilst in 2016 the firm became the manager of the first RAIF platform established in the jurisdiction.

In relocating to new offices, Crestbridge hopes to future-proof its operation in a jurisdiction that remains key to its growth strategy, as Daniela Klasén-Martin, Managing Director of Luxembourg and Group Head of Management Company Services, explained: “Driven partly by Brexit but also by Luxembourg’s focus on asserting its position as the leading European jurisdiction for cross-border investment fund distribution, we have continued to see rising business levels over recent months and have expanded and strengthened our team as a result." She added: “This move should send a clear message that we remain committed to Luxembourg as a key strategic jurisdiction that forms a key part of our international network, as we continue to offer innovative and tailored solutions across the fund and corporate spectrum.”

Globally, Crestbridge employs more than 280 people across its network of five offices in Bahrain, Cayman Islands, Jersey, London and Luxembourg.
