On Wednesday 2 April 2025, the second-leg semifinals in the Women's Enovos Basketball League took place, determining the first finalist of the 2024/2025 season.
Sparta Bertrange secured their place in the championship final after defeating AB Contern 65-59 in the return leg. Having previously won the first game 66-60 at home, Sparta travelled to Contern, where the hosts took an early lead, finishing the first quarter 18-11. By half-time, Sparta had narrowed the gap to just two points (28-26). In the third quarter, the visitors took control, led by team captain Lena Mersch, who converted three three-point shots. Sparta entered the final ten minutes with a five-point advantage and managed to maintain the lead despite pressure from Contern, who came within three points but could not overturn the result. Despite a strong performance by AB Contern’s Beyonce Marie Bea - who scored 21 points and collected nine rebounds - it was Sparta who advanced to the final.
In the second semi-final, T71 Dudelange produced an upset by handing Gréngewald Hueschtert their first loss of the season. T71 had lost the first leg but responded strongly at home, dominating the first quarter 28-10, with guard Emma Blasen contributing eight points. Gréngewald attempted a comeback but trailed 44-30 at half-time. The third quarter again saw T71 in control and although Gréngewald managed to reduce the deficit to 14 points, the hosts held firm to win 79-65. The result ties the series at 1-1 and forces a decisive game three, which will take place on Saturday 5 April 2025 in Niederanven.
