The regular season of Luxembourg’s Enovos Basketball League continued over the weekend with the men’s teams playing Game Day 17 and the women’s league’s second game day of the second round of the championship.
Men's Enovos League: Musel Pikes' first win in nine matches
In a clash of the league's bottom teams, Musel Pikes hosted Avanti Mondorf, with both sides entering the game with identical records of 2 wins and 14 losses. However, the hosts ended their eight-game losing streak in style. Five Musel Pikes players scored in double figures, leading the team to an 86:72 victory. Forward Christian Brandon stood out with a double-double performance, registered 21 points and 19 rebounds.
League leaders Etzella Ettelbruck extended their winning streak to 16 games (16:1) after defeating Résidence Walferdange at home. Etzella dominated all four quarters and shot over 50% from beyond the arc (18/35), securing a 120:81 victory. Captain Philippe Gutenkauf led the charge with 28 points, while forward Quatarrius Deaundrey Wilson contributed 29 points.
Close behind Etzella, T71 Dudelange and Amicale Steesel also enjoyed victories at home. T71 defeated US Heffingen 102:75, while Amicale overcame Basket Esch 85:69. Both teams now hold records of 12 wins and 5 losses, with 29 points each.

Women's Enovos League: Sparta Bertrange fall at home
The second round of the women’s championship saw Gréngewald Hueschtert maintain their unbeaten season. François Manti’s side recorded their sixteenth consecutive victory, defeating T71 Dudelange 84:70 at home.
In the race for second place, AB Contern (11:5) closed the gap on Sparta Bertrange (12:4) to just one point. In a head-to-head match at Bertrange, Contern dominated all four quarters, handing the hosts their largest defeat of the season, 57:91. Contern’s leaders, Esmeralda Skrijelj and Beyonce Marie Bea, delivered double-double performances. Skrijelj tallied 23 points and 17 rebounds, while Bea added 22 points and 15 rebounds.
