On Thursday 30 April 2026, the Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) announced that the Bock Casemates had received the 2026 TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice Award.
According to the LCTO, the Travelers' Choice Award is one of the most prestigious awards in the international tourism industry and is based exclusively on independent user reviews. Ranking among the top 10% of attractions worldwide confirms the high level of visitor satisfaction and reinforces the international visibility of the Bock Casemates as a leading tourist attraction in Luxembourg.
Over a twelve-month period, travellers shared their personal impressions, contributing to the Travelers' Choice Award recognition.
The Bock Casemates are among Luxembourg's most iconic landmarks and are a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the fortifications, along with the Old Town. With their impressive underground galleries, views and history, they attract more than 200,000 visitors from around the world each year.
The LCTO said it is continuously working to develop the visitor experience at the Bock Casemates, including guided tours that allow visitors to discover the history and architecture of this unique site.
