On Thursday 26 March 2026, the annual Great Place To Work® Luxembourg awards ceremony was held at Kinepolis-Kirchberg; after 60 companies had been evaluated and more than 7,500 employees surveyed, sixteen winners were recognised.

Sixteen companies were recognised, divided into three categories based on their size. The 2026 edition was notable for several firsts: the inclusion of a law firm and a healthcare company, two sectors historically under-represented in this type of ranking.

A performance gap that speaks for itself

Data collected from all 60 companies evaluated this year confirmed that the Best Workplaces™ 2026 achieve significantly higher results than the average Luxembourg employee across five key indicators.

In terms of engagement, 80% of employees at the winning companies say they are willing to go the extra mile to finish what needs to be done, compared to 47% for the representative average of Luxembourg employees. The gap is just as pronounced in terms of recommendation (84% vs. 63%), retention (81% vs. 51%), perceived customer satisfaction (86% vs. 57%), and agility (80% vs. 46%). These figures come from the European Workforce Study 2025, conducted among 24,938 employees in 20 European countries, including 1,000 in Luxembourg.

By comparison, 56% of Luxembourg employees say their company is "a great place to work." Among the Best Workplaces™ 2026, this rate reaches 87%, compared to 88% for the 2025 cohort.

Testimonials that illustrate the concrete impact of the label

For Pascal Sislevic, Managing Director of Securex Luxembourg, the certification process has a special significance: “When offering HR services to our clients, it’s really great to be able to combine theory with practice.” This view is shared at Brucher Thieltgen & Partners, where Sad Myiam, Head of Human Resources, emphasised "this label truly has special value because it’s directly based on feedback from our employees—it’s a source of pride and recognition for our teams."

At CTG IT Solutions, Anthony Salvarani, Service Manager, summed up the company’s philosophy with the phrase: ‘Happy People Produce Quality.’ People who are truly happy work better, with higher quality.

For Jennifer Barbaray, Managing Director of Great Place To Work® Luxembourg, the 2026 edition sends a strong message: "What struck me most this evening was the presence on the list of a law firm and a company in the healthcare sector—two challenging sectors, for different reasons, but both with a genuine commitment to the continuous improvement of the employee experience.” This shows that becoming a Great Place to Work® is possible for any size company and in any sector.

Patrice Brun, partner of Great Place to Work® Luxembourg, highlighted one of the structural challenges specific to the Luxembourg market: “Managing cross-border workers and the constraints related to remote work will continue to impact company culture. Best Workplaces® have a key role to play: by building a people-centric culture.

"On a human level, they make employees want to come to the office."
