On Thursday 20 May 2021, the 7th edition of the Diversity Day Lëtzebuerg took place and included the 4th Diversity Awards ceremony: this day is part of the European Commission's European Diversity Month during which organisations were invited to launch initiatives to illustrate their commitment to diversity themes through striking and entertaining actions.
In Luxembourg, on this day coordinated by the Diversity Charter Lëtzebuerg, 6 organisations welcomed Corinne Cahen, Minister for Family Affairs, Integration and the Greater Region and Patron of the Diversity Charter Lëtzebuerg, for the awards.
Diversity Day 21 was a day highlighting the different forms of diversity and proposed awareness-raising activities on disability, LGBTI inclusion, diversity as a corporate value or cultural and culinary diversity. Once again, organisations adapted their events to celebrate diversity within their premises - safely and in compliance with sanitary measures.
