ING Luxembourg has been awarded “Best initiative of the year in relationship management technology” in Europe at the Professional Wealth Management (PWM) Wealth Tech Awards 2019.

A jury of ten market leaders selected ING Luxembourg out of around 50 private banks participating in the PWM (private wealth management) Wealth Tech Awards. The award recognises ING's digitisation efforts and its emphasis on innovation in banking.

Indeed, in response to the needs of its private banking clientele, ING Luxembourg has made use of digitisation and technology for three distinct purposes: to simplify and streamline processes, to deliver a differentiating customer experience and to anticipate customer needs.

The PWM Wealth Tech Awards ceremony took place on 27 June 2019 at the new Financial Times headquarters in London. The goal of these awards is to highlight the prominent role of technology in private banking. They gather qualitative and quantitative information from private banking groups to then give a set of awards for excellence in the use of technology and digital communication. Institutions are asked to show key achievements, changes or improvement in relation to how technology is transforming their business models and contributing to drive growth, support advisers, enhance brand and improve client experience.
