On Thursday 29 October 2026, the Grand Ducal Police issued an appeal for witnesses following a violent theft in Wiltz the previous evening.
According to the police, on Wednesday 28 October 2026, at around 18:35, an unknown perpetrator stole a mobile phone and headphones from a man on Campingstrooss in Wiltz, near the junction with Rue du Dix Septembre. The suspect subsequently fled towards a shop on Beim Hundsburn.
The police are particularly seeking a witness who, according to initial information, was involved in a physical altercation between the victim and the suspect shortly before the theft. At the time, the suspect was travelling on an electric scooter accompanied by two other young people.
