The Grand Ducal Police have announced that due to the planned relocation of Gare-Hollerich Police Station to a new building on Rue du Fort Wedell at the end of 2028 or the beginning of 2029, it will temporarily be relocated to premises located at the capital’s railway station.
According to the police, as of Wednesday 30 September 2026, the Gare-Hollerich Police Station, located on Rue Glesener, will no longer be accessible to the public.
From Thursday 1 October 2026, the police station will be located within the Central Railway Station at 15A Place de la Gare (L-1616 Luxembourg-Gare).
The opening hours will be 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The public reception will be open Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 as well as by appointment, and on Saturday and Sunday by appointment.
The Grand Ducal Police recommends making an appointment in advance for all non-urgent matters.
All other police stations in the capital region remain available to the public.
