On Thursday 13 August 2026, Luxembourg's Ministry of Justice announced that Minister of Justice Elisabeth Margue had given birth to a baby boy.
The minister and her child are both doing well.
To ensure the continuity of the ministry's activities, signing authority was initially delegated to Serge Wilmes, Luxembourg’s Minister for the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity and Minister for the Civil Service, and subsequently to Léon Gloden, Luxembourg’s Minister for Home Affairs.
