The Grand Ducal Police have reported multiple traffic offences following a speed check carried out on the N11 between Wolper and Echternach on Thursday 30 July 2026.

According to the police, officers recorded a total of 55 speeding offences during the operation. In 35 cases, drivers exceeded the speed limit by up to 20 km/h, while a further 20 motorists were found to have exceeded the maximum permitted speed of 90 km/h by more than 20 km/h.

In one case, officers confiscated a driving licence on the spot.

Police also identified several additional offences, including failure to carry a driving licence or vehicle tax disc, as well as non-compliant vehicle windows. Fixed fines and reports were issued accordingly.
