The Grand Ducal Police have reported the arrest of two suspects following a violent theft in Luxembourg City during the night of Sunday 26 July 2026.
According to the police, officers were called to an altercation on Rue de la Loge, where initial findings indicate that a man's necklace had been forcibly ripped from his neck.
Police located two suspected perpetrators at the scene, while a third suspect fled before officers arrived.
Acting on the instructions of the Public Prosecutor's Office, the two suspects were arrested and brought before an investigating judge. The police added that the investigation to locate the third suspect and recover the stolen property remains ongoing.
