The Grand Ducal Police have reported that on the morning of Thursday 23 July 2026 thieves targeted a recycling centre in Rosport-Mompach and succeeded in stealing 518 litres of diesel from an on-site fuel tank.
According to the initial information, the police were notified of a break-in at the site of the recycling centre near Echternach on Thursday morning, during which unknown perpetrators broke into several construction containers and forced open the lock of a diesel tank.
The suspected perpetrators stole 518 litres of diesel from the tank.
The police said that officers have drawn up a report and an investigation has been launched.
