On Tuesday 21 July 2026, the City of Luxembourg (VdL) announced that following technical work carried out from Monday 20 to Tuesday 21 July 2026, additional work is required before the heating supply can be restored to particular customers of the municipal district heating network in Luxembourg-Kirchberg.
The VdL reported the additional works are scheduled to take place from 08:00 on Tuesday 21 July until 08:00 Wednesday 22 July 2026 and noted that the heating network will see an interruption of hot water supply for the entire duration of the works.
