The Grand Ducal Police have reported that two driving licences were confiscated between Sunday 19 and Monday 20 July 2026, following alcohol-related incidents in Bissen and Stadtbredimus.

According to the police, on the evening of Sunday 19 July, a man attended a police station and stated that he had been driving his vehicle after consuming alcohol. According to his account, he had damaged a crash barrier at the junction of the N7 and Rue de Roost in Bissen. An alcohol test returned a positive result. His driving licence was confiscated and a report was compiled.

During the night leading into Monday 20 July, the police were notified of an altercation between two individuals in Stadtbredimus. One of the suspects had already left the scene before police patrols arrived but was located a short time later. An alcohol test returned a positive result. The man was issued with an exclusion order. In addition, his driving licence was confiscated.
