On Friday 10 July 2026, the Grand Ducal Police launched a search operation following two overnight burglaries in Luxembourg-Cents, with one suspect arrested and another still at large.
According to the police, the burglaries were reported at around 03:00 and involved two residential properties located close to each other.
During the subsequent search operation, officers apprehended one suspected burglar, while a second suspect fled the scene.
Several police units remain in the area as the search and investigation continue.
Police have urged anyone who notices suspicious activity in the area to call the emergency number 113.
