On Thursday 2 July 2026, Luxembourg City (Ville de Luxembourg - VdL) announced a call for applications for its new Design Hub in Luxembourg-Grund, which will open on 1 October 2026, with applications already open.

The new premises aim to provide professionals from the creative industries with affordable workspaces in an environment designed to encourage creativity, co-working, knowledge sharing and the organisation of workshops.

The application process will continue until Friday 24 July 2026. Creative entrepreneurs working in the visual arts, including photography, decoration, film, web design, graphic design and illustration, can complete the application form available on the Design Hub website. Only complete applications, including both the application form and a project description, will be considered.

The 155 m² building, located at 18 Rives de Clausen, will offer modular workspaces for rent, ranging from larger studios to individual desks. It will also feature a multifunctional space for workshops and seminars.

Workspaces can be rented for a maximum period of eleven months, with a monthly rent set at €350 for workshop spaces and €250 for the "desk".

Inaugurated in October 2023, the Design Hub of the VdL offers young talents and creative entrepreneurs a temporary and affordable workspace where they can carry out their activity, consolidate their professional experience and gain confidence in order to establish themselves sustainably in the design ecosystem in Luxembourg. By bringing together different creative professions under one roof, the new creative hub also represents a unique networking opportunity.
