'Summer op der Gëlle Fra' Returns to Luxembourg City

The City of Luxembourg (VdL) has announced that the "Summer op der Gëlle Fra" (Summer at the Golden Lady) event will return to Place de la Constitution from Friday 3 July to Sunday 13 September 2026.

According to the VdL, the iconic city-centre square will once again be transformed into a convivial summer venue featuring DJ performances, cocktail and beer bars, takeaway stands offering sweet and savoury specialities, summer decorations and relaxation areas.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy two fairground rides — the "Kettenflieger" and the "Circus Express" — throughout the event. 

Bars, catering stands and fairground rides will be open daily from 11:00 to 22:00, and until 23:00 on Fridays, Saturdays and the eve of public holidays.
